aBantu Development Agency is a South African Not for Profit Organization (NPO) and Not for Profit Company (NPC) based in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape. Our goal is to facilitate development and support economic growth within the townships of Port Elizabeth and around the Eastern Cape. Through our projects and programs we aim to provide the necessary resources and development assistance to the communities. Our approach to address the challenges on local level is highly influenced by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We work as a Development Agency in the arts, culture, education and community development throughout the Eastern Cape seeking innovative solutions for social cohesion and creating platform for communities to sustainably develop themselves. We seek to create opportunities and connections nationally and internationally by encouraging intercultural exchange and relations through the arts and education.
